Juvenile Matters Court at Waterbury

Directions: 

From Rte. 8 (coming from towns south of Waterbury):

• Take exit Rte. 8, using Exit 32, "Downtown Waterbury".
• Move to the right hand lane and at 1^st traffic light (Freight Street) take a right onto Freight. Take Freight to the end (2 blocks) and turn left onto Meadow Street.
• Proceed straight through the 1^st light on Meadow, the intersection with West Main Street, and continue two more blocks.
• Turn right onto Grove Street. The third street on your right will be Prospect Street.
• Turn right onto Prospect Street and park where you can. The courthouse is at 83 Prospect, the 3^rd building on the right hand side.

Or take Route 8 to Exit 31, Rt. 84 eastbound, and get off Rt. 84, almost immediately, at exit 21, and follow the directions below for coming from Rte. 84 Westbound.

From Route 8 (coming from towns north of Waterbury):

• Take Exit Rte. 8, using Exit 34, "West Main Street/Watertown Avenue." At end of ramp, turn left onto West Main Street.
• Proceed straight through the first 4 traffic lights (ramp for entry to Rt. 8 included), heading toward the town green.
• At the stoplight by the monument in the center of the street, proceed left around the back of the monument. It will put you where the green is to your right.
• Continue about a block and a half to where Prospect Street comes in from the left, immediately alongside Immaculate Conception Church.
• Turn left onto Prospect. The courthouse is on the left hand side, nearing the top of the block.

From Route 84 Westbound (coming from Meriden, Middletown, Hartford, etc.):

• From 84 West, take Exit 21, Meadow/Bank Streets.
• At the end of the exit, turn right onto Meadow Street.
• Go straight through three stoplights, (and crossing West Main Street) and continue to Grove Street on your right.
• Turn right onto Grove. The third street on your right will be Prospect Street.
• Turn right onto Prospect and park where you can. The courthouse is at 83 Prospect, the 3^rd building on the right hand side.

From Route 84 Eastbound (coming from Southbury, Danbury, etc.):

• From 84 East, take Exit 21, Meadow/Bank Streets.
• At the stoplight at the base of the exit, turn right onto Meadow Street.
• Go straight through four stoplights (and crossing West Main Street) and continue to Grove Street on your right.
• Turn right onto Grove. The third street on your right will be Prospect Street.
• Turn right onto Prospect and park where you can. The courthouse is at 83 Prospect, the 3^rd building on the right hand side.
